Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag findet eine Auseinandersetzung mit dysfunktionalen Gruppenkulturen in der Polizei statt. Diese stellen die absolute Ausnahme und keineswegs die Regel dar. Wenn sie jedoch nicht erkannt werden, können ihre Konsequenzen verheerend für die gesamte Organisation sein. Deshalb wird im Folgenden die Skizze einer dysfunktionalen Gruppenkultur dargestellt und ihre Konsequenzen für die Führung in der Polizei diskutiert. Als Grundlage dienen Gespräche, die im Rahmen der teilnehmenden Beobachtungen der Stabsstelle Rechtsextremistische Tendenzen in der Polizei NRW geführt wurden.
