Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Rahmen einer strategischen Neuausrichtung und unter dem Eindruck einer im Jahr 2019 durchgeführten Initiative zur Werteorientierung hat sich die Polizei NRW auf den Weg begeben, wesentliche Handlungsfelder des Führungshandelns im Rahmen einer Gesamtstrategie zu betrachten. Die Basis bildet dabei eine Rahmenkonzeption, die beschreibt, wie gute Führung gelingen kann. Künftig werden mehr Reflexions- und Beratungsmöglichkeiten, wie u. a. ein mehrdimensionales Führungsfeedback, Führungskräften Unterstützung und Orientierung geben. Die Führungsstrategie beschäftigt sich aber auch mit der Frage, wie Führungsleistung kontinuierlich betrachtet und gesichert werden kann, mit dem Ziel, diesen Prozess in die Steuerungssystematik der Polizei NRW einzubetten.
