Abstract

Zusammenfassung Berufsbedingte Mobilität ist nicht nur ein wesentliches Narrativ gegenwärtiger Gesellschaften, sondern war bereits auch schon Erwerbsarbeitsanforderung des Proletariates während der Industrialisierung. Im 21. Jahrhundert wird die Erwerbsarbeitsanforderung des Mobil-Seins durch Figuren wie die der „Digitalen Nomad*innen“ fortgeschrieben. Die Mobilitätsanforderungen können mit dem Gefühl von Freiheit und Selbstbestimmung aber auch mit einem einsamen und bindungslosen Dahintreiben einhergehen. Diese psychosozialen Aspekte der berufsbedingten Mobilität werden arbeitssoziologisch, geschlechtertheoretisch und arbeitspsychologisch analysiert und am Beispiel von Selbstdarstellungen „Digitalen Nomad*innen“ kontrastiert.
