Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag erfahren Sie, wie wichtig Bürgerbeteiligung für unsere vielfältige Demokratie ist und warum Prozesse und Veranstaltungen partizipativ geplant werden sollten. Auf welche Weise wollen Bürger*innen angesprochen werden, damit sie sich an öffentlichen Fragen beteiligen? Beschrieben wird ein neues Rollenverständnis für Politik, Verwaltung und für Expert*innen. Aus Teilnehmer*innen können Teilgeber*innen werden. Beispiele zeigen, wie innovative Veranstaltungsdramaturgie zu überraschenden und breit akzeptierten Lösungen beitragen kann. Digitale Formate und Werkzeuge erweitern die Breite und Tiefe der Bürgerbeteiligung, und die wirkmächtigen Potenziale sind noch längst nicht ausgeschöpft. Wenn der Beteiligungsprozess selbst partizipativ entwickelt wird, kann hohe Ergebnis- und Erlebnisqualität erreicht werden.
