Abstract

Zusammenfassung Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit dem Thema künstliche Intelligenz (KI) im Gesundheitswesen. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf dem aktuellen Stand der Normen und deren Anwendung hinsichtlich des Themas Zulassung von KI-gestützten Medizinprodukten. Dafür wird soweit in das Thema KI eingeführt, dass die Besonderheiten von KI als Software und die Unterschiede zwischen adaptiven, selbstlernenden und nicht adaptiven, nicht selbstlernenden Systemen ersichtlich werden. Zudem werden die verfügbaren (harmonisierten) Normen genannt und der Zulassungsprozess im Allgemeinen beschrieben. Dabei wird eine grobe Einführung in den Zulassungsprozess von Medizinprodukten gegeben, um die Problematik mit KI-gestützten Medizinprodukten und im Speziellen mit adaptiven KI-gestützten Medizinprodukten verstehen und nachvollziehen zu können. Anhand einiger Beispiele soll gezeigt werden, inwieweit die Zulassung von nicht adaptiven KI-gestützten Medizinprodukten unter Zuhilfenahme der verfügbaren Normen aussehen könnte. Ebenfalls soll ein Ausblick auf die bevorstehenden Aufgaben bei der Zulassung von adaptiven KI-gestützten Medizinprodukten erfolgen.
