Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für deutsche an der Börse gelistete Unternehmen ergibt sich bislang nur die rechtliche Verpflichtung, ein angemessenes Risikomanagement und Risikocontrolling zu betreiben. In diesem Beitrag werden neben den sich hieraus ergebenen Interdependenzen zwischen dem Controlling und der Corporate Governance vielmehr auch ökologische und gesellschaftliche Aspekte mit berücksichtigt. Die Integration von Nachhaltigkeitsrisiken bei Kreditinstituten wird anhand regulatorischer Anforderungen aufgezeigt. Dabei ergibt sich für die Kreditinstitute ein erheblicher Implementierungsaufwand, der insb. durch die fehlende Basis von Nachhaltigkeitsdaten begründet ist. Demgegenüber profitieren Kreditinstitute aus der Berücksichtigung von Nachhaltigkeitsrisiken, da sie frühzeitig Risiken erkennen oder sich profitabel im Markt für nachhaltige Finanzierungen positionieren können.
