Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mehr und mehr individualisierte Produkte, kürzer werdende Produktlebenszyklen und die steigende Anzahl an Produktvarianten führen zu einer zunehmenden Komplexität des Auftragsabwicklungsprozesses in vielen Unternehmen. Diese Komplexität steigt insbesondere bei Auftragsfertigern, die ihre Produkte kundenspezifisch aus definierten Komponenten herstellen und/oder entwickeln. Sind zur Herstellung der Produkte individualisierte Komponenten notwendig, die von einem Lieferanten bezogen werden, erhöht sich zusätzlich die Komplexität der Auftragsabwicklung über die gesamte Lieferkette.
