Abstract

The purpose of the book is to explore the importance of humanistic management postulated in fostering digital transformation in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Relational goods have been identified as the main theoretical lens under which explore how humanistic principles could diffuse in the business and thereby change human attitude and behavior in respect of digital technologies underlying digital transformation. To do so, first literature on relational goods have been reviewed. Likewise, the authors examined literature on digital transformation and about Diffusion of Innovation Theory. Finally, a real-world case has been explored to assess the importance of such a kind of intangible goods on digital transformation.
