Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Buch erklärt die langfristige Entwicklung der Vermögenspreise auf der Grundlage einiger weniger Grundprinzipien: Das Rationalitätsprinzip, das auf die Entscheidungen von Unternehmen und Haushalten angewandt wird, in Verbindung mit dem Gleichgewichtsprinzip reicht aus, um die beobachteten langfristigen Wachstumsraten von Aktien, Anleihen und Rohstoffpreisen zu erklären. Insbesondere haben wir eine Theorie der Zinssätze abgeleitet, die die Vermögenspreise aus der Sicht der Unternehmen durch die Grenzproduktivität des Kapitals und aus der Sicht der Haushalte durch den Grad der Ungeduld in Verbindung mit dem Konsumwachstum erklärt.
