Abstract

In the previous two chapter, status was first defined as a social fact, and is a social fact that can be subject to both strategic and tactic manipulation to accomplish certain objectives. If status is not a self-enclosed or self-referential concept, then it means that human cognition, preferences, and beliefs are affected by status relations.
