Abstract

Distance measure is an important way to calculate distance of two subjects in real-world problems, for example, selecting a right city for investment is important for the development of a country as well as the future of the companies. In this paper, we firstly give the basic definitions and properties of single valued trapezoidal neutrosophic numbers(SVTN-numbers). Then, the various distance measures based on SVTN-numbers are obtained and supported with theorems which are related to distance measures axioms. Moreover, we develop a multi-criteria decision making method based on the proposed distance measures under SVTN-numbers. Finally, we give a numerical example in order to indicate the validity of obtained distance measures in real world.
