Abstract

Legal laws pertaining to workplace bullying in the countries of South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya in the African continent and countries of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, and Israel situated in the Middle Eastern region are reviewed in this chapter. The Protection from Harassment Act 2011, The Labor Act 1985, and the Employment Act 2007, Federal Decree Law 2015, the Law on Turkish Human Rights and Equality Institution 2016, and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Law 2014 are discussed in detail to understand how effective these legal statutes are in protecting the physical and mental health of employees within organizations. In addition, suggestions are provided to overcome the limitations existing in the current legal system in Africa and the Middle East region.
