Abstract

Background: The key factors for the adoption and implementation of the strategic concept of CSR in a manufacturing company are employees and corporate care for them within the social pillar of CSR. This raises questions about what is the content of the social pillar of CSR. Research aim: The aim of the research is a complete description of social CSR focused on internal stakeholders in a manufacturing company and creating a model of the social pillar of internal CSR. Methodology: The paper is based on a literature review and semi-structured individual interviews with experts from the academic and corporate field. First, there is an extensive literature review to create a description and content of the social pillar of CSR to propose its model. Second, the experts review and verify the model of the social pillar of internal CSR. Key findings: The result of the research is a model of the social pillar of internal CSR consisting of 53 topics, which are divided into 3 areas of social CSR. The originality of the research is in the integral and complex description of the social pillar of internal CSR. It is thus a contribution to global research of the management of the social pillar of CSR and an impetus to explore other pillars of CSR.
