Abstract

The chapter goes through the role of changing norms for establishing a business in India. There have been major changes in the economic handling of problems faced by the country for the past several decades, especially for the past three decades. Foreign investors have been welcomed to establish businesses, mostly with Indian partners, and sometimes on their own. The norms keep getting tweaked according to the needs and aspirations.
