Abstract

Multi-criteria decision making or multi-criteria decision analysis is a sub-discipline of operations research that explicitly considers multiple criteria in decision-making environments. Whether in our daily life or in a professional setting, there are usually many conflicting criteria that need to be assessed in decision making. Generally, multi-criteria optimization has been considered a poorly regulated technique, based on knowledge of types of optimization problems and multi-criteria decision support tools.
