Abstract

The paper aims to develop a strategy for sustainable development of agro-industrial associations using the example of agricultural holdings actively formed in Russia in the context of the increased instability of the global social development and the need for a common policy in the digital transformation of enterprises. Simultaneously, the problem of an integrated approach to forming an effective system of integration of material, labor, financial, and information resources arises. As the main research method, the author uses mathematical modeling, which, unlike most models for strategic management that are iconographic in their nature, allows considering many more factors and calculating various options for developing modeling objects in the simulation mode. The mathematical model considers the methods of the most effective digital transformation of associations in combination with the reorganization of human and organizational capital from a systemic standpoint on the methods of the theory of complementarity. As a result of the research, the author develops a model for strategic management of sustainable development of an agricultural holding. The paper shows that the formation of a strategy for developing an agricultural holding combined with the design of a single digital platform for unification based on cloud technology leads to a completely different management system for it. This fact allows an agricultural holding to follow global trends on quality, traceability, and other competitiveness components when setting strategic goals. The paper presents the original model developed by the author and making it possible to substantiate unified approaches to the digital transformation in the long term for large agro-industrial associations and then medium and small farms that could work with agricultural holdings on the principles of outsourcing. The novelty of the work lies in the originality of this model developed by the author and based on the concept of a digital platform of the agro-industrial complex, which was also obtained by the author earlier using mathematical modeling and practically implemented at one of the agricultural holdings.
