Abstract

The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility has grown stronger in recent years in Poland. The public administration has played an important role in relation to the CSR, as it is actively involved in promoting this aspect. On the other hand, both national and foreign companies have used social responsibility as a strategy to show themselves as companies with responsible employers. The improvement of the CSR in Poland is conditioned by several factors, for example, global initiatives for CSR, changing work regulations, internationalization of business, among others. The results of the analysis in this chapter show that respondents value CSR more in terms of their workplace and employee responsibility and demonstrate less concern for socio-environmental attributes.
