Abstract

This chapter explores the imperative task of enhancing competitiveness management for industrial enterprises in the context of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction. The research delves into the pressing concerns faced by the nation in revitalizing its industrial sector after the conflicts with the Russian Federation. Focusing on the efficient utilization of available resources, the study aims to offer practical and strategic solutions to improve the competitiveness of Ukrainian industrial enterprises. Key measures are identified to address the shortcomings of the historical past and drive economic development. First, regulatory and legal support for industrial enterprise management at both national and regional levels needs refinement. By creating a conducive environment for enterprises, they can operate efficiently and competitively. Additionally, continuous research and development, including theoretical and methodological analyses, are critical to document progress and offer practical recommendations for regions and enterprises alike. A novel framework is introduced, employing an algorithm based on criteria and grouped indicators to assess the competitiveness management level of industrial enterprises. Notably, the framework emphasizes the importance of region-specific resource potential, accounting for the distinct characteristics and strengths of each region. By embracing academic insights and methodological approaches, Ukraine can lay the foundation for a resilient, dynamic, and competitive industrial sector, contributing significantly to the overall economic development of the nation. Implementing a comprehensive competitiveness management system strategically prioritizes resource potential in various regions and is expected to attract investments, stimulate innovation, and foster a conducive environment for industrial growth.
