Abstract

The world economyWorld economy was severely hit by the COVID-19COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It was estimated that the annual growth in the world’s real gross domestic product (GDP) in 2020 would be $$-3.3$$ - 3.3 % (International Monetary Fund (IMF) 2021). World tradeWorld trade simultaneously contracted sharply.
