Abstract

Nowadays, the population of Indonesia continues to grow. Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world. Besides that, zakat management institutions in Indonesia also continue to increase annually. But in reality, the absorption of zakat in Indonesia is still far from standard. Zakat institutions have related how cooperation between tax payers and recipients can be beneficial. There is, however, a problem that occurs in the zakat collection system. We argue that the GO ZAKAT mobile application can offer a solution by optimizing the collection of zakat in Indonesia.
