Product Policy for the International Enterprise

Abstract

This chapter deals with the problems of production methods and product policy on a global scale, both as it affects the international enterprise and the host government. What follows applies particularly to the situation where the international enterprise intends to set up foreign based production facilities which are either wholly owned or subject to a joint venture or indigenization situation: but it also largely applies to the situation where the enterprise is supplying technology by licensing or the sale of a turnkey operation.
