Abstract

This chapter initially examines the level of statistical confidence of fraud measurement data disclosed by questionnaire respondents. The focus then moves to the creation of a British Standard of measurement. When considering the value of this option for change, its feasibility will be examined at both macro and micro levels. This chapter then explores the creation of an information-exchange and knowledge-transfer infrastructure to develop core doctrine of fraud loss measurement, including the participation in this process by organizations from all sectors.
