Abstract

There is no doubt that social media is changing the way people communicate and connect with each other. Not only do social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube facilitate people-to-people communication but they also play a role in how consumers communicate to, and about, a company’s brand. Big Oil brands can improve their communication with the masses by implementing many of the recommendations from this chapter.
