Abstract

How ready are you as an organization for today’s pace of change? How prepared is your organization to transition through turbulence in order to reform and transform itself for the future? How able is your organization to do this again and again? One thing for most of us is certain: the competencies that brought us to the present are unlikely to be those that take us to future success. Indeed, studies in the field of strategy strongly suggest that organizations that survive – much more those that excel – are constantly refreshing themselves to address and create new markets and new customer needs. Several go so far as to make their products and services redundant before the market does that for them. Think Apple.
