Abstract

The extraordinary growth of China’s livestock sector has resulted in growing demand for animal feed, particularly commercial feed products. There has been significant structural change in the consumption of livestock and seafood products, as discussed in the previous chapter. In addition to strong growth in the overall demand for feed, there is likely to be substantial change in the composition of demand for feed.
