Abstract

In the previous chapters and discussions, we have analysed, described and discussed the dynamic situation and overall picture of Japanese hybrid factories that are spreading worldwide. Now, I will try to summarize, including the latest data, and predict the directions of Japanese management and production systems, focusing on the terms of ‘diverging or converging,’ from the strategic point of view of the world production activities not only for Japanese manufacturers but also for non-Japanese world firms.
