Gender Difference

Abstract

An increasing number of organizations are committed to gender diversity and to providing learning and development opportunities for women and men to explore—separately and together—values, beliefs, and behaviours that inform people’s thinking, assumptions, and expectations of each other. Through this process people are encouraged to be true to themselves, to feel confident in who they are, and to find ways of communicating with each other that are flexible and assertive, and I’m OK: You’re OK—respecting and valuing difference.
