Abstract

The phenomenological theoretical systems described in Chapter 9 consist of two levels, namely, the generic theory L1, comprehensive and abstract even if morphologically simple, and the data-specific theory L2, the formal language that accounts for a concrete empirical structure. As a bridge between L1 and L2 we encounter the concrete (dataconform) theory, simply a specialized and redesigned version of the generic theory to meet the requirements of a given structure of data.
