Organizational Prerequisites for Financial Models

Abstract

As we saw in the preceding chapters, the financial model is a computer program based on mathematical equations which simulate procedural issues, decision making processes, trading operations or accounting policies. As stated in Chapter 1, simulation is a working analogy which permits us to study how another system works, and how its component parts behave, by means of experimentation and measurements done on the better known structures, for instance, the mathematical models we have seen in Chapter 3.
