Abstract

Psychotherapy is often called the “talking cure.” Whether you are an Adlerian, Freudian, Jungian, or even unfashionably Kleinian, most of the cure involves natter. Well, that’s not strictly the case: it’s really a monologue. Sometimes these therapy sessions are called “expensive conversations.”
