Abstract

It seems from reports that physical, emotional and verbal bullying is on the increase at work. This may be simply because of over-reporting by incompetent, lazy, vengeful staff eager to punish their bosses and sue their organizations, but it could also be because of the stress and complexity of modern business life. The demanding environment produces stressed figures of authority who then bully, harass and victimize innocent and vulnerable workers.
