Abstract

By putting on the yellow futures glasses, the windjammer captain and his crew decide on one of the possible destinations that they perceived with the green futures glasses. The color of the yellow futures glasses is derived from the metaphor “sail towards the sun” or towards the island with the most beautiful (yellow) beach. Through the yellow futures glasses you see the future that you want to have realized at a given point in time. It is the strategic vision of your life or your company, which you put together from the future opportunities you recognized with the green futures glasses.
