Abstract

El presente capítulo se organiza en siete secciones. Luego de la introducción, en la segunda sección se presenta una discusión conceptual de la pobreza desde el punto de vista de las capacidades propuesto por Amartya Sen. La tercera sección revisa la metodología de la pobreza multidimensional, además de un enfoque que combina la pobreza monetaria con la pobreza multidimensional. En la cuarta sección, se presentan los canales de transmisión para combatir la pobreza multidimensional, resaltando las experiencias de economías desarrolladas y emergentes. En la quinta sección, se presentan los resultados de la pobreza multidimensional en el Perú, a nivel nacional y regional. En la sexta sección, se muestran las proyecciones de la pobreza multidimensional al 2062, adicionando los lineamientos del sector público y del sector privado para alcanzar el objetivo en 50 años; y, finalmente, en la séptima sección están las conclusiones del trabajo.
