Abstract

El presente documento tiene como fin realizar un análisis general del presupuesto público del sector saneamiento. Se divide como sigue: en primer lugar, se brinda una descripción general del sector. En segundo lugar, se analiza el financiamiento del mismo y los gastos realizados. En tercer lugar, se realiza un análisis de incidencia con el propósito de determinar qué parte de la población se ve más beneficiada con el gasto. Adicionalmente, se analizan los efectos del gasto, observando los resultados y se propone una política para mejorarlos. Finalmente, se presentan las limitaciones del trabajo y las conclusiones.
