Abstract

In this concluding chapter, we sum up the research findings in the light of ongoing changes following the Covid-19 pandemic emergency as a 'critical juncture'. We analyse the role of 'willful actors' promoting 'alt-labour' and 'entry' forms of collective action as crucial in this new context. We also highlight the limits of these initiatives, regarding the issue of democratisation of work. We conclude by identifying research limitations and emerging research questions.
