Abstract

This case presents the development of a stand-alone body stretching bar, called Shape Stretch, and the use of digital technologies by the product developer. The use of digital technologies was critical to bootstrap and develop a medical and fitness device within the span of four years. The Shape Stretch story shows how using digital technologies accelerate innovation and product management processes through web-based applications, digital design tools, and USPTO patent and trademark tools
