Abstract

EIA teaching recipes focused on process aspects of EIA and other specialist forms of impact assessment are presented. The 17 recipes are discussed in relation to type of classroom activity, target audience as to whether they are directed towards university students or professional development trainees, and the teaching principles to which each recipe aligns. Recipes in this chapter feature teaching of the EIA process, stakeholder engagement and specialist forms of impact assessment including social and health impact assessment as well as strategic environmental assessment.
