Abstract

Este capítulo aborda la construcción de un modelo dsge-sir que incorpore las complejas relaciones entre enfermedad, contención y dinámica económica, consta de cuatro secciones : La primera su debida introducción sobre los estragos que a causado en la economía mundial, en la segunda se analizan los mecanismos a través de los cuales se conectan los fenómenos económicos y los fenómenos epidemiológicos; la tercera discute el tema de la calibración; la cuarta presenta los resultados del modelo; y la quinta se ocupa de las conclusiones y recomendaciones de políticas, que permitan atenuar el efecto tanto económico (medios de vida) como en pérdidas humanas (vida).
