Abstract
chunky breaks a large text file into user specifiable manageable chunks. The typical context for use would be when a researcher receives a huge data dump from a database into a comma separated value data file that is too large to insheet. chunky will allow serial chunking and then infiling or insheeting and saving a subset of data through drop or keep, or using collapse or contract to store summarized data. The smaller chunks can then be appended together to create a dataset with all required observations.
