Arbeitsqualität Älterer in belastenden Berufen

Abstract

Vor dem Hintergrund des demografischen Wandels und der Verlängerung der Lebensarbeitszeit stellt sich die Frage, unter welchen Voraussetzungen eine Beschäftigung in belastenden Berufen bis zur Regelaltersgrenze möglich ist. Bislang gibt es jedoch nur wenige quantitativ angelegte Studien zum Thema der Arbeitsqualität Älterer in belastenden Berufen. Der Zweck dieser Expertise ist eine empirische Einschätzung, wie sich die Arbeitsqualität bei älteren Beschäftigten mit Berufen entwickelt, die durch hohe körperliche oder psychische Belastungen geprägt sind. Als Referenz zur Beurteilung der speziellen Lage älterer Beschäftigter mit belastenden Berufen dienen einerseits die jüngeren Beschäftigten in diesen Berufen und andererseits die Beschäftigten in nicht belastenden Berufen.
