Innovative Ansätze in der Berufsbildung: Höhere Durchlässigkeit und Flexibilität durch Zusatzqualifikationen und duale Studiengänge

Abstract

Der Wandel in der Arbeitswelt stellt veränderte und immer höhere Anforderungen an Nachwuchskräfte, die auch neue Strategien in der Ausbildung erforderlich machen. Die Berufsausbildung wird dieser Entwicklung zum einen durch Zusatzqualifi kationen während der Berufsausbildung gerecht, mit deren Hilfe Ausbildungsinhalte vertieft oder erweitert, aber auch Brücken zu Schulabschlüssen und zur Weiterbildung geschlagen werden. Zum anderen fi ndet über duale Studiengänge eine Verknüpfung von Berufsausbildung und Studium statt. Die vorliegende Studie liefert erstmalig einen umfassenden Überblick über solche innovativen Qualifi zierungsansätze und hochwertigen Ausbildungsmodelle innerhalb der dualen Berufsausbildung und analysiert die in der Praxis erprobten Modelle. Hieraus werden aktuelle Qualifi kationstrends in der höherwertigen Berufsausbildung abgeleitet und Rückschlüsse auf bildungspolitische Erfordernisse und Handlungsoptionen gezogen. Die Ergebnisse wurden ganz überwiegend auf der Grundlage einer Auswertung der Inhalte der Datenbank AusbildungPlus gewonnen, die vom Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft Köln (IW) betreut und vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) gefördert wird.
