Abstract

Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten findet heute nicht nur in nationalen, sondern - mehr denn je -auch in internationalen Kontexten statt. Dies betrifft nicht nur den fachspezifischen Diskurs, sondern greift tiefgehend in politische, soziale, kommunikatorische, kulturelle und nicht zuletzt persönliche Bereiche ein. Von Globalisierung ist allerorten die Rede. Doch wie läßt sich dieser Begriff auf Wissenschaft anwenden und welche Auswirkungen und Folgen hat dies, nicht nur, aber auch insbesondere für Frauen? Wo liegen Chancen, Grenzen und Möglichkeiten? Diesen und anderen Fragen gingen Teilnehmerinnen und Referentinnen auf der achten Wissenschaftlerinnen-Werkstatt der Promovendinnen der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung im September 2001 nach.Der vorliegende Band dokumentiert mit vielfältigen Beiträgen und Berichten die Veranstaltung zum Thema 'Perspektive: GLOBAL!
