Abstract

Die Chemieindustrie ist von strategischer Bedeutung für die industrielle Produktion, denn ihre Erzeugnisse - innovative Materialien, Werkstoffe und Komponenten - sind entscheidende Vorprodukte unterschiedlichster Wirtschaftsbereiche. Gleichzeitig steht die Chemieindustrie weltweit vor großen Herausforderungen: voranschreitende Globalisierung, neue Technologien und Innovationspfade, neue Anforderungen an Nachhaltigkeit und Arbeit und vieles mehr. Die Branchenanalyse greift diese Herausforderungen auf und bewertet sie auch hinsichtlich der Arbeit von Akteuren der Mitbestimmung.
