Abstract

Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmer wählen im vierjährigen Turnus ihre Betriebsräte. Der Trendreport Betriebsratswahlen analysiert die Wahlergebnisse 2014 aus dem Organisationsbereich verschiedener DGB-Mitgliedsgewerkschaften und vergleicht sie mit den vorangegangenen Wahlperioden. Auf dem Prüfstand stehen das Wahlverhalten der Beschäftigten, die Entwicklungen in den Betriebsratsgremien und ihrem Sozialprofil sowie die Ressourcen und Kapazitäten der Betriebsräte. Die Ergebnisse geben Auskunft über die Veränderungsdynamik der Betriebsratsgremien und damit der betrieblichen Mitbestimmung, wie sie durch das Betriebsverfassungsgesetz geregelt ist.
