Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie untersucht die Umsetzung globaler Rahmenabkommen. Diese können eine Verbesserung von Arbeitsstandards bewirken, wenn es klar geregelte Verfahren zur Umsetzung und eigenständige Steuerungsgremien mit transnationalem Zuschnitt gibt. Zudem sind die Handlungsressourcen und -ähigkeiten der Arbeitnehmervertretungen von wesentlicher Bedeutung. Globale Rahmenabkommen können die Handlungsmöglichkeiten von Interessenvertretungen stärken, indem sie die transnationale Vernetzung aufseiten der Beschäftigten vertiefen und Lernprozesse zu sozialen Innovationen anstoßen.
