Was kann Deutschland hinsichtlich eines forcierten Ausbaus der Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung von anderen Ländern lernen?

Abstract

Die gekoppelte Strom- und Wärmeerzeugung in Heizkraftwerken stellt zweifellos eine bedeutende Strategie zur Verminderung der vom Energieeinsatz ausgehenden Umweltprobleme dar. Zudem ist es volkswirtschaftlich gesehen vorteilhaft, den Raumwärme- und Warmwasserbedarf mit Kraft-Wärme-Kopplungssystemen, also über Nah- und Fernwärme abzudecken. In Deutschland beträgt der Anteil der Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung an der Stromerzeugung in Deutschland aber lediglich 10%, in den Niederlanden hingegen 40%, inÖsterreich 26%, in Finnland 31% und in Dänemark sogar 50%. In der vorliegenden Studie wird die Entwicklung der Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung in diesen vier Ländern detailliert untersucht und in Hinblick auf die Übertragbarkeit entsprechender Maßnahmenüberprüft.
