Abstract

Mit dieser Veröffentlichung zur Evaluation des IT-Weiterbildungssystems ist das gleichnamige BIBB-Projekt abgeschlossen. Die Beiträge zu Kosten und Nutzen der IT-Weiterbildung und zu einem Abgleich/Vergleich von ausgewählten Industriezertifikaten mit Profilen des IT-Weiterbildungssystems geben nochmals einen aktuellen Einblick zur Situation und Akzeptanz des IT-Weiterbildungssystems. Die Autoren des Instituts für Arbeit und Technik kommen anhand von zwölf betrieblichen Fallstudien zu der Schlussfolgerung, dass sich eine IT-Weiterqualifizierung sowohl für den Beschäftigten als auch für den Betrieb lohnen dürfte, nichtsdestotrotz stagnieren die Teilnehmerzahlen. Die Studie zu ausgewählten Industriezertifikaten zeigt Handlungsbedarf bei der (Neu-)Ausrichtung des IT-Weiterbildungssystems als offenes, anerkanntes Weiterbildungsinstrument, das eine effektive Integration, d.h. Akzeptanz dieser Zertifikate in diesem Anerkennungssystem zulässt. (Hrsg., BIBB-Doku)
