Abstract

Im Zentrum der Diskussion über die Zukunft von Berufsbildung und Beschäftigung steht der personenbezogene Dienstleistungsbereich als bedeutendes beschäftigungspolitisches Wachstumsfeld, hierbei insbesondere das Gesundheits- und Sozialwesen. Die Beiträge thematisieren die Berufsbildungs- und Beschäftigungssituation am Beispiel des Gesundheits- und Sozialwesens, Professionalisierungsdefizite, exemplarische Weiterbildungskonzepte zur Professionalisierung personenbezogener Dienstleistungen sowie neue Beschäftigungsfelder und Qualifikationsanforderungen für diesen Bereich. Den Konsequenzen und Chancen für die berufliche Entwicklung der Beschäftigten in diesem neuen Wirtschaftsbereich widmet das Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung im Arbeitsschwerpunkt "Qualifikationsentwicklung in personenbezogenen Dienstleistungsbereichen" eine Reihe neuer Forschungsprojekte zur Weiterbildungsforschung.
