Abstract

Die Zielsetzung des vom Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung initiierten Modellversuchs bestand darin, Frauen nach einer familienbedingten Erwerbsunterbrechung für einen beruflichen Aufstieg im Einzelhandel zu qualifizieren. Der Bericht stellt die Ergebnisse der wissenschaftlichen Begleituntersuchung dar, wobei der Blick vorwiegend auf die Teilnehmerinnen gerichtet ist. Das Konzept des Modellversuchs, die Situation von Frauen im Einzelhandel und in den Modellversuchsbetrieben, die Information und Auswahl der Teilnehmerinnen, die individuellen Voraussetzungen und die Motivation der Teilnehmerinnen stehen im Mittelpunkt der Darstellung.
