Abstract

Duale Studiengänge sind innovative Angebote an der Schnittstelle von beruflicher und hochschulischer Bildung. Durch ihre unternehmensnahe Ausrichtung und ihre in den letzten Jahren stark gewachsene Bedeutung für die betriebliche Personalentwicklung unterliegen sie ständigen Veränderungsprozessen. Zusätzlich verstärkt wurde diese Tendenz durch die im Rahmen des Bologna-Prozesses erfolgte Umstellung auf Bachelor- und Masterabschlüsse. Somit bestand ein dringender Untersuchungsbedarf bezüglich der sich in den letzten Jahren vollzogenen Modifikationen bei Organisation und Durchführung dieser Studienangebote. Das hier beschriebene Projekt des Bundesinstituts für Berufsbildung zielte darauf, Erkenntnisse zur aktuellen Ausgestaltung dualer Studiengänge an (Fach)Hochschulen zu gewinnen. Dazu wurden 14 Fallstudien dualer Studiengänge und eine quantitative Befragung von knapp 1.400 an dualen Studiengängen teilnehmenden Betrieben durchgeführt. Zudem werden Empfehlungen zur Modifizierung der seit 2003 vom Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB) entwickelten und angewandten Systematik dualer Studiengänge gegeben. (Autorenreferat, BIBB-Doku)
